For over thirty years, owner Michelle McKenzie has worked in the business of publishing, editing, writing and retail management. She is the owner of McKenzie Bookworks and My Staff Is Yours.
Michelle's writing appears in magazines and children's books. She attended the acclaimed Wildbranch Nature Writing Workshop at Sterling College in Vermont, UC Davis writing classes, and Natalie Goldberg writing workshops, and the Stanford Professional Publishing Course.
She was the publisher for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Press and helped to create a number of fine natural history books, authoring three children's books as well.
Michelle recently coordinated all aspects of opening the new museum store at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, CA.
She has built a solid reputation as a trusted professional and is committed to providing quality service to her clients.

Michelle and her husband Jim moved to the Sierra Foothills of Grass Valley, California in 2004 after living several decades on the Monterey Peninsula.They share their home with their dogs, cats, horses and donkeys.
